For aspiring, new and experienced managers who wish to develop their leadership competencies and sharpen essential management skills, the Ambulance Service Manager program provides a broad foundational curriculum that matches cutting edge management theory with real-life practical applications. The core faculty includes experts in the art and science of EMS management, as well as distinguished guest faculty representing current leaders in emergency medical services management. The American Ambulance Association, the leading ambulance service advocacy organization across the United States, sponsors this program.
The Ambulance Service Manager program is a certification course designed to immerse participants in an engaging learning environment. A small group of 40 participants moves together through two weeks of face-to-face instruction and experiential learning led by industry leading faculty bridged by several weeks of online discussion and group project work. Along the way, lifelong relationships are formed and a professional network is established. Kansas City has proven to be convenient and cost effective for organizations across North America and beyond.
Core faculty for this program include: Jay Fitch, PhD, Richard A. Keller, BS, Michael Ragone, Guillermo Fuentes and David E. Nelson, DMin. Additional distinguished faculty are invited based on current trends and needs of the program.
Registration Information: Program tuition is $2,695 ($2,495 if registered by May 21). Tuition includes the live and online faculty sessions, materials, a work styleprofile, 360 survey, and a copy of Prehospital Care Administration second edition. Laptop with Wi-Fi, PDF Reader, and Office Productivity Suite is highly recommended (not required) for the course. Each onsite class begins at 8:00 am on Sunday and concludes at 3:00 pm on Friday. Hotel Information: The ASM Program will be held at The Q Hotel, 560 Westport Road, Kansas City, Missouri. The discounted hotel rate is $104 per night and includes breakfast each morning and internet access. Hotel reservations must be made directly with The Q Hotel by calling 800/942.4233 (or 816/931.0001). The hotel room block expires July 11, 2012. We cannot guarantee room availability or the special $104 rate after this date. To receive the $104 discounted room rate, state that you are attending "ASM". You are responsible for hotel room and tax charges, telephone charges, and other incidental expenses. The hotel is available for check-in after 3:00 p.m.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations subject to a $250 administrative fee and must be in writing to Fitch & Associates via fax (816/431.2653) or email (sconroy@emprize.net) by November 7, 2011. Telephone cancellations will not be accepted. No refunds will be processed after this date. Registration fee may be applied one time to the next scheduled ASM program only and a $250 fee applies, otherwise, full registration fee is forfeited. Attendee substitutions will be allowed and may be made in writing to Fitch & Associates via fax or email.
